According to Dr. Carl Jung’s works in psychology: at the point of crisis in an ego deflating event, the psyche possesses a “self-healing mechanism” which can yield the strangest awe inspiring events as a means to re-orient the individual.
From the chaotic and ‘below personal’ field of the conscious intellect, archetypal and primordial images surface to “cut a way through” a paradoxical or immovable psychic obstacle in a rare “visitation” experience.
Such “visitations”, can represent profound and “felt reality” images that mediate transformation in the individual.
